DEATHS
At Merton, near Queenstown, on the 4th inst. Abraham Morris Oliver, Esq.
J.P. of Towermore, near Fermoy, second son, of the late Charles Silver
Oliver, formerly M.P. of Inshera, county Cork, and of Castle Oliver, county
Limerick.
At Ashbourne, on Wednesday night, to the inexpressible grief of her family
and friends, Ellen Mary, the beloved wife of Laurence Quinlivan, Esq. T.C.
late Mayor of this City, and daughter of Matthew Kelly, Esq. of Kilrush. She
endured a tedious and wasting illness, which visited her on the bloom of
life and the full enjoyment of domestic happiness, with a gentle, placid
submission, so characteristic of the true Christian, when it pleases the
Lord to chasten in this world the soul which He loveth. The remains of this
much lamented lady were yesterday conveyed for interment in the family
burial place near Kilrush.
At Waterloo-road, Dublin, the residence of her grand-daughter Mrs. Roe, Mrs,
Catherine Hickman, aged 82 years, relict of the late Wray John Palliser
Hickman, Esq. of Fenloe, county Clare
At Tulla, county Clare Mary, wife of William Watson, Esq.
In Ennis, Mrs. M. O'Brien, relict of the late Mr. J. O'Brien, at the age of
85 years.
At Tramore, Bessie, daughter of William Lambert, Esq.
At Mount Plummer, near Drumcolloher, Mr. James Gibbon.
At Ballinard, Herbertstown, Mr. Thomas Barry.
At Miltown Malbay, Mrs. Mary Howard, aged 74 years.
At Arodstown, county Meath, Robert Williams, Esq.
In Baggot-street, Arthur Darley, Esq. Post Captain Royal Navy, eldest son of
the late Alderman Frederick Darley.
At Castleblayney, Eliza, wife of Wm. N. Irwin, Esq. M. D.
Mr. Richard Darby, of Richmond bridewell.
At her residence, James's-street, Mrs. Margaret Nolan.
At Rockdale House, county Tyrone, Hercules, son of the late James Lowry,
Esq.
At Dundalk, Catherine, relict of the late, Mr. John Farrell,

At New York, Dora, wife of Mr. Richard Graham, late of Waterford.
At Toplitz, in Bohemia, William Teevan, Esq. of Bryanston square, London,
nephew of Archdeacon Brady, of the diocese of Kilmore.
At New York, the Rev. J. Mulligan, a native of Tullyconnaught, county Down.
At Mysore, of cholera, John Hoppner Gallwey, 12th Madras N. I. son of
Captain Gallwey, R. N. Consul at Naples.
At Rathbeg, county Tipperary, the residence of her son, Maria Susannah Lemon
Reade, relict of the late Henry Loftus Reade, Esq. late of Moreton, Wexford.
In Vyvian Terrace, Clifton, Mrs. Lee, author of the "Canterbury Tales".
