VALE ....DON KELLY passionate genealogist

We, who are passionate about genealogy, can't help but become involved with others of a like mind, often stretching ourselves, our time, further than we thought was possible.

One man, who seemed not to have boundaries, recently passed away..
he was Don Kelly, of Portland Oregon...

you may not have known Don personally, but many of you will have read
his name and benefited from his work...

For me, the main connection was through Ireland Genealogy Projects, better known as IGP.

A note from Christina Hunt of Ireland Genealogy Projects Archive:

I am sad to report that Don Kelly, who has managed Ireland Genealogy Projects since its inception, has passed away.
He will be sorely missed.
Don Kelly, R.I.P. 1934-2012.

Allow me to quote again from Christina Hunt from IGP.... also a passionate genealogist.

" I just know he was really nice, loyal and good hearted. "

Don wasn't one for a fuss, so we will just say Thank You on behalf of the many whose lives he touched, knowingly, or unknowingly, and leave you with just a few reminders of the many things he was involved in.

May you find all the answers you were looking for, Don.
R.I.P.
