James Patrick O'Gorman Mahon, as he chose to title himself, died 125 years ago last week.
He's one of the forgotten Claremen of the 19th century, but is remembered out at Newpark in Roselevan.
It's the old seat of the Mahon family as Joe O Muircheartaigh discovered when talking to local historian, Declan Barron.
