CLARE CHATTER : HERITAGE WEEK IRELAND 2013




 


 
CLARE ROOTS SOCIETY 



is participating in National Heritage week with three sessions for anyone beginning their Family History search.
Pass on the word to anyone who may be interested and introduce them to a fantastic hobby and interest.
 
"Starting your Family Tree" .
The talk will outline the Basic Guidelines, Sources of Information and the use of the Internet in Research followed by a Q & A session.
 
Tues 20th Aug. at 2.30 pm   Scariff  Library  with Gerry Kennedy
Wed 21st Aug. at 2.30 pm   Ennis   Library    with Larry Brennan
Thurs 22nd Aug. at 2.30 pm Ennistymon Library  with Gerry Kennedy
 
 
More than 80 separate events focusing on County Clare's built, natural & cultural heritage will take place during the week 
which is co-ordinated by Clare Local Authorities and The Heritage Council with support from the Department of Arts, 
Heritage & the Gaeltacht and Fáilte Ireland. 

Heritage Week is part of European Heritage Days, a joint initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Union.
