CLARE ROOTS SOCIETY - CARMODY'S HOTEL TRAGEDY- BOOK LAUNCH, SUNDAY 14TH JANUARY 2018

 The 60th Remembrance of the Carmody Hotel Tragedy will also be the launch of Clare Roots Society's first book for 2018. The Mayor of Ennis, Paul Murphy, will do the honours at the Parish Centre at the rear of Ennis Cathedral. The launch will be preceded by a Mass of Remembrance for the eight people who lost their lives on the 15th January 1958. 

Researched and edited by John Bradley, the book recounts the stories of the owners, guests and the history of what was an iconic landmark for 150 years in Ennis.
