CLARE ROOTS SOCIETY ANNOUNCES EXCITING NEW PUBLICATION PROGRAMME

MESSAGE FROM LARRY BRENNAN

Mary Hester has done Ballynacally - Lissycasey some notable service.

Clare Roots Society is currently preparing its  2016 -  2017 publication programme as part of its future activities. 

We are currently inviting writers & editors to submit proposals with regard to this programme.

The Society would particularly like to invite editors/writers, who would be willing to write about their particular area or Parish, to come forward. While there is no financial reward for anybody associated with the publication, there is immense reward for the writer and their community.

This is well summed up in the attached article, written by a local man, Seamus O' Reilly, about his Parish. Seamus is the editor of the Clare County Express.

There was a great turnout for the launch of the book on Ennis Cathedral by John Bradley on last Thursday. 

Our last event for the year is the launch of the Book on Ballynacally by Mary Hester which takes place this 

Thursday in the Community centre Ballynacally. All are welcome.
