New County Cork (South West) Records
We are delighted to announce that 61,505 Roman Catholic baptism and marriage records for South-West County Cork have been uploaded to the Roots Ireland database at rootsireland.ie/cork. Although these parishes are in County Cork, they are actually part of the diocese of Kerry, and are located on our County Cork sub-domain. They are as follows: 
Adrigole (baptisms, 1830-1910; marriages, 1831-1910)
Allihies (baptisms, 1822-1913; marriages, 1823-1872)
Ballydesmond (baptisms, 1888-1915; marriages, 1889-1915)
Boherbue (baptisms, 1864-1904; marriages, 1863-1910)
Castletownbere (baptisms, 1820-1908; marriages, 1817-1915)
Eyeries (baptisms, 1860-1915; marriages, 1823-1910)

  1. I am wondering if someone might be able to help me?
    My gg grandmother Ann Sullivan bc 1831 was tried at Co Tipperary on the 25th July 1851 and it says native place Co Cork.
    Is there any way of finding out where she actually came from? Kay in Australia.

    1. Kay, have you tried searching any of the Irish newspapers? You can access them via National Library Archives if you have an NLA card, you will find details as to how to apply for one on the NLA site. You might also like to search irishgenealogy.ie
