'Emigration to Ellis Island from County Clare'

This talk will discuss the emigration process for Irish emigrants
through Ellis Island during the late 19th century and into the 20th century.
Particular emphasis will be on those who came from County Clare
and the unique stories and experiences shared through the
emigration to the US.
Jane Halloran Ryan is the Chairperson of Clare Roots Society,
a member of APG, and offers Family Research and Genealogy Service
through Dalcassian Origins :www.dalcassianorigins.ie,
and is currently undertaking her
Doctorate in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick.
