Heritage Week is Around the Corner!
Heritage Week will take place from 19-27 August and we're making 2017 the year we help more people learn about, enjoy and help Ireland's nature.
We're exploring our natural heritage in surprising ways this Heritage Week. From archaeology to architecture, folklore to placenames, Irish culture is deeply rooted in nature.
Enjoy evening adventures for night owls, intriguingly tasty events for foodies or muddy family fun in the forest.
There is something for everyone to enjoy this Heritage Week. Best of all, most of the events are free of charge.
With over 2,000 events happening across Ireland it's your chance to explore the heritage that's all around you.
Manor House Hotels Competition
Every Manor House Hotel has a fascinating historical story to tell and many will be staging special events to mark Heritage Week.
Stroll the Macreddin Mile near BrookLodge & Macreddin Village in Wicklow. Take a Medieval Kilkenny Rooftop Tour at the Pembroke Hotel or explore the architectural heritage of Markree Castle, Co. Sligo.
To celebrate Heritage Week, Manor House Hotels are offering one lucky winner and guest a fantastic two night b&b break, including dinner on one evening, in one of the 29 luxurious Manor House Hotels around Ireland.
The Early Bird Catches the Worm
Some events need to be booked in advance, particularly guided tours or children's workshops where numbers are limited.
You can book your place directly with the event organisers. Book early to avoid disappointment!
