As part of the National Famine Commemoration, which begins on May 3rd, Clare Roots Society
are hosting a short Liturgy of Prayer and unveiling of a Memorial to over 2000 nameless people
who died of hunger and fever during the Famine in Ennis.
The burial site is located in Old Drumcliff graveyard, behind the tower and Church .
