New Gravestone Inscriptions for South Mayo We have added an index to over 50,000 names recorded on gravestones in South Mayo to our website. These have been abstracted from the gravestones collection held at the South Mayo Family Research Centre. The index contains the deceased person's name and graveyard; in many cases the inscription contains the date of death, address and age of the deceased.The time period covered spans most of the 19th and 20th centuries.
